I’ve lost my motivation. I’ve lost my passion. My life has been on pause since I left Gallatin. I don’t even really know what I am doing with myself. The only place I find comfort these days is playing roller derby. And that seems silly, well someone makes me feel like it’s silly. Dumb, even. I know that he just wants me to do something worthwhile with my life so why can’t I do that? Is this really the end? Or are we going to keep playing this game? Can we make it work? Or can we drag it out even longer? We’re pretty good at that. What the fuck do I even want? I want my relationship to work. Our love to grow. But if I am really honest with myself, it isn’t growing. And it hasn’t been for awhile. He wants to say he’s creating a fail safe for me and now’s the time to take a risk. Is that risk leaving this place? Again? Or sticking it out? The fact that the sun hasn’t been shining doesn’t help this gloom in my heart. In my life. Just breathe.
