Wow, I have gone from being a bored housewife, gaining weight and being some what depressed to not having enough time to buy groceries or actually finish that folding part of laundry! By the way, I have lost about 10 pounds in the last month!!!

I got an awesome job at a coffee shop that a girlfriend of mine owns. It’s called Cool Beans Cafe! I get all jacked up on coffee all day and talk to some really interesting people. Plus, I am learning how to make some pretty awesome drinks. If you are in the Norfolk/VA Beach area, hit me up and I’ll direct you to the coolest coffee shop in town. 

I am almost done with my derby training!!! I am supposed to eval Sunday, but I am going out of town for my one year anniversary. It’s all good though because I am one practice short anyways. But I did pass my time trials tonight!!! And my knee is doing really well. I feel confident about this. And some what nervous. 

Last but not least, the damn anniversary! So apparently, for the one year anniversary it is traditional to give gifts involving paper. So I guess I am going to have to make something. When?! Fuck I don’t know. I am eating some magical shrooms tomorrow so maybe I can be creative then. 

Yes, so those that care there is my update. I actually have a life now and have found that I’ve been neglecting Tumblr. Just know, I still love you all.

I have been doing research on it. I have talked to a friend of mine who has done it and she has given me great advice. Anyways, I am going to try this. January 23rd is the start of the boot camp. And my new motto this year is “If not now, when?!”

I should have gotten to know my dad better. 

And my husband and I might get divorced over the fact he loves Sabbath more than Zeppelin. 

Just saying.

What a night.

My family has picked up the tradition to jump in the creek behind my mother’s house on the third weekend in February. We changed it this year, for some additional polar bears we wanted to jump with us. It is the 4th year we’ve done it and I’ve jumped each year.

Tennessee actually had a winter this year. It keeps snowing and the temp just keeps dropping. It’s supposed to be high 30s on Saturday. So the water is going to be fucking cold cold. I can’t wait! It is so exhilarating!!

So this Saturday, I will be jumping in like 10 degree water acting like a Polar Bear! Then, I’ll party with my family in front of a warm fire with beer, whiskey and good food! Can’t wait. Be jealous ;)

1. Take a road trip to California to see my family. Stop as many places along the way.
2. See the Grand Canyon.
3. Go to Rothbury Music Festival in the summer.
4. Find a dirty hippie to love.
5. Move to Chattanooga with the bestie.
6. Make new friends in Chattanooga. It will be nice going somewhere no one knows my name. I can start over.
7. Find a writing job for a magazine.
8. Maybe go to a four-year and get my bachelor’s…maybe.
9. Take ANY opportunity that comes my way…
